St
Andrews Golf Club
Often
referred to as “the home of golf” St
Andrews is where golfers from all over the world aspire
to play and is also the home of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club.
The famous Old Course is often the first stop for Fife Golf Holidays
and although the ballot system can restrict some tee times Golf
Fife will always try to secure tee times for our clients.
It is easier to get a tee time off-season between November and
March and if your Fife Golfing Holidays include a round on the
famous Old Course, you will take home memories which will last
forever.
Besides the St Andrews Old Course, the town
also has other superb courses to whet your appetite. You can take
your choice from the New Course,
Jubilee Course, Eden
Course and the most recent addition to golf in Fife, the magnificent
Castle Course. All these
courses are part of the total St Andrews experience and we at
Fife Golf can organise your tee times which are readily
available during both the summer and winter seasons. St Andrews
is also within a very short 10-15 minute drive from other famous
courses in the area i.e. Kingsbarns
and the Fairmont Resort
which hosts the Torrance Course
and the Kittocks Course.
Carnoustie Golf Club
is also only about a 40 minute drive and if required Golf
Fife can organise tee times and transport to this globally
renowned British Open Championship Course.
Besides
all the obvious Golfing attractions, St Andrews has a lot more
to offer on your golfing holidays in Fife. The town is renowned
for it's historical past and has many first class restaurants,
bars, hotels
and other attractions which all
help to make your Golf Fife holiday even more enjoyable and memorable.
